Job Title: Purchase Engineer

Required qualification: Mech. Eng./ Elect. Eng.

Required experience: Min 2 to 5 years Exp from engineering & operations

Main function of the job

• Establish communication & relationship with suppliers
• Develop sourcing & procurement processes
• Measure, monitor & improve purchase related matrix
• Develop & facilitate efficient procurement strategies
• Ongoing cost reduction & improving quality of purchase product

1. Identification and Assessment of Suppliers, Periodic assessment to develop best-in-class suppliers.

2. Monitor supplier DPPM and delivery performance. Report on monthly basis. Work with suppliers on continuous improvement / problem solving initiatives to achieve zero DPPM as ultimate goal. Regular reviews to monitor Suppliers Quality / delivery Performance.

3. Ensure problems are resolved & production line is not affected.

4. Conduct basic problem solving and root cause analysis activities in order to eliminate recurrence of non-conformities

5. Play key role along with Plant quality and ME team to ensure that Quality is built into the product & process at supplier’s end.

6. Drive quarterly plan of supplier audits and improvements

7. Focus on appearance & key performance issues

8. Import components – work with source plant for problem resolution for development of import source

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
