Purchase Executive

About the Company:

Plati India Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of alloy wheels, serving dealers, and distributors across India. We are looking for a Purchase Manager (Engineering Background) to manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, and production-related items, ensuring timely availability at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end purchase operations for raw materials, consumables, and engineering goods
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for cost-effective procurement
• Maintain supplier relationships and develop alternate vendor sources
• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays
• Prepare and process purchase orders and contracts as per company standards
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/production departments
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and vendor terms
• Maintain purchase records, cost sheets, and reports for management review

Candidate Requirements:

• Male candidate preferred (due to coordination with vendors & factory visits)
• Graduate/Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement (manufacturing industry preferred)
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, ERP software
• Ability to handle pressure and meet timelines
