To manage and oversee all procurement activities for the factory, ensuring timely sourcing of raw materials, equipment, and services while optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and execute the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other factory requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Maintain supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team for efficient stock management.
- Prepare purchase orders, track invoices, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Analyze market trends to anticipate price fluctuations and advise management accordingly.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and finance teams for smooth operations.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement software is a plus.
