Role Summary

The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities, maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing requirements.
  • Research, evaluate, and shortlist reliable vendors.
  • Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Update internal systems with order details such as dates, vendor information, quantities, and discounts.
  • Compare and evaluate vendor quotations; negotiate to secure better pricing and terms.
  • Maintain and organize records of invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Follow up with suppliers to confirm, expedite, or modify orders as needed.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and store teams to ensure goods are received in proper condition.

Requirements & Skills

  • 2–3 years of experience in a purchase or procurement role.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and general computer applications.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
