Job Profile: Purchase Assistant

Company: Endeavour Instrument Private Limited
Industry: Manufacturing & Export (Electronic Weighing Scales, Automatic Weighbridges & EOT Cranes)
Location: Changodar Ahmedabad
Budgeted Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month

Role Objective

To support the Purchase Department in vendor coordination, order processing, material procurement, and documentation, ensuring cost-effective and timely supply of quality materials required for manufacturing and export operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Purchase Manager in sourcing raw materials, spare parts, and consumables for weighing scales, weighbridges, and cranes.
  • Collect and compare quotations from multiple vendors to ensure best rates.
  • Prepare purchase orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
  • Maintain records of purchase, pricing, and vendor agreements.
  • Coordinate with stores and accounts departments for material inward, GRN, and invoice matching.
  • Track inventory levels and raise requisitions as per production requirements.
  • Support in vendor registration, vendor evaluation, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Graduate (preferably B.Com / BBA / Diploma in Materials Management).
  • 1–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement (preferably in manufacturing industry).
  • Knowledge of ERP/Excel for purchase entry & MIS reporting.
  • Strong negotiation, follow-up, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Reporting To: Purchase Manager

Compensation: Up to ₹30,000 per month

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
