Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with new and existing suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Procurement Process: Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any order or quality issues with vendors.
- Cost & Quality Control: Conduct cost analyses, research market trends, and ensure purchased items meet quality standards and budget requirements.
- Inventory & Demand: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with internal teams (like production/warehouse) for timely replenishment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, vendor details, and prepare procurement reports.
- Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize value, reduce costs, and ensure supply chain resilience.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; strong understanding of supply chain procedures; proficiency with purchasing software.
