We are in the process of hiring Purchase Executive

Job description

Responsibilities and Duties

. Should be strong in Negotiations

· Sourcing new/potential suppliers and vendors.

· Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.

· Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing with vendors

· Planning and forecasting the material requirements

· Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers and vendors

· Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.

· Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.

· Ensuring timely issuance of imported purchase order

· Regular follow up with the shipments and logistics

· Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.

· Track orders and ensure timely delivery

· Review quality of purchased products

· Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases

· Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices

· Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses

· Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed

· Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

Qualifications and Skills

· QUALIFICATIONS /SKILLS: BE MECH. Knowledge on fabrication, Machining and other outsourced process, materials, electrical & electronic components.

. Mechanical background is Preferred

· Proficiency in MS Excel.

· Minimum 3-7 years of work experience in similar role

· Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)

· Hands-on experience with purchasing

· Understanding of supply chain procedures

· Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysis

· Negotiation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
