The Ajman branch is located at Royal Discount Center, Rashidiya 3, near Al Ittihad Center.
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Purchase Executive to support the purchasing and procurement operations of Gate Ajman – Royal Discount Center. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in discount stores, retail stores, hypermarkets, supermarkets, or wholesale trading environments. The role requires strong vendor coordination, product sourcing, price negotiation, stock monitoring, and market comparison skills.
Key Responsibilities
Source and purchase products based on store requirements and customer demand.
Coordinate with suppliers, wholesalers, distributors, and local market vendors.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and product availability.
Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving items and plan purchases accordingly.
Maintain proper purchase records, quotations, invoices, and supplier details.
Compare product prices and quality from different suppliers before finalizing purchases.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to the store or warehouse.
Coordinate with store, inventory, and accounts teams for purchase planning and payment follow-up.
Check stock levels regularly and avoid overstocking or shortage of essential items.
Identify new products and suppliers suitable for discount store sales.
Support management in cost control, margin improvement, and purchase decision-making.
Ensure all purchases are made as per company policies and approved budgets.
Required Candidate Profile
Male candidate preferred as per company requirement.
Must be locally available in the UAE.
Previous experience in discount stores is mandatory.
Experience in retail, wholesale, supermarket, hypermarket, or general trading purchase will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of local UAE suppliers and wholesale markets.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple product categories.
Basic knowledge of inventory and purchase documentation.
Should be hardworking, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Preferred Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
Prior experience in discount centers, 1–10 stores, gift centers, retail outlets, or warehouse-price stores will be highly preferred.
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
