Job Title: Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive will manage procurement of boards, hardware, upholstery, and finishing materials for kitchen, wardrobe, and loose furniture projects, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely supply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure materials for complete furniture production, including:
• Boards & Panels:
• MDF, plywood, chipboard
• Finishes:

laminates, acrylic, veneer, PVC

Hardware: hinges, channels, handles, locks, baskets

Upholstery: fabric, leatherette, foam, cushions

Polish & Finishing: paints, polish, chemicals, adhesives

• Source and develop vendors for fabric, foam, polish, and accessories.
• Negotiate prices, credit terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) as per BOQs and production plans.
• Coordinate with design, production, and site teams for accurate requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to factory/showroom/site.
• Monitor stock levels for fabric rolls, foam, polish, and hardware.
• Conduct market surveys to identify new materials and cost-saving options.
• Ensure quality inspection of incoming materials.
• Maintain proper documentation (GRNs, invoices, vendor records).Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain / Business / Relevant).
• 2–5 years experience in furniture, upholstery, or interior fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of fabric types, foam density, polish/finishing materials, and hardware.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills.

Skills Required:

• Vendor sourcing (fabric, foam, polish suppliers)
• Negotiation & cost control
• Inventory & stock planning
• Coordination with production & design
• Quality control awareness

Preferred:

• Experience in Home/office furniture, and K&W projects
• Knowledge of BOQs, cutting lists, and upholstery requirements
• Understanding of finishing techniques (spray polish, PU, duco, etc.)
