Job Title: Purchase Executive

Location: Khopoli. Raigad

Job Type: - Full Time
Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹25,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

Raw Material Procurement

• Manage and oversee the purchasing of raw materials (e.g., steel) essential for wire production.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best deals.
• Monitor raw material market trends and anticipate price changes or supply chain disruptions.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain adequate stock levels of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Track inventory, forecast requirements, and plan procurement cycles accordingly.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely availability of materials.

Vendor Management & Evaluation

• Identify potential new suppliers, evaluate their reliability, and build long-term relationships.
• Conduct periodic assessments of supplier performance, including quality, delivery times, and pricing.
• Address any issues or discrepancies with suppliers to maintain smooth supply operations.

Purchase Orders & Documentation

• Issue purchase orders and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain records for auditing purposes and prepare reports on purchase activities.

Cost Control & Budgeting

• Work closely with the finance team to manage procurement budgets and reduce costs wherever possible.
• Analyze pricing trends and report on opportunities to minimize purchase costs.

Compliance & Quality Control

• Ensure all raw materials meet the required quality standards.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements in procurement.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred).

Desired Skills:

• Experience in the steel industry or a related field.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and sales software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Excellent communication and listening skills

· Excellent computer skills (MS Word, PPT, Excel)

· Organizational and Leadership abilities

· Should be residing in or nearby Khopoli
