Location: Bodakdev, Ahmedabad

Reporting to: Purchase Manager / Dept. Head

Job Description:

Ø Responsible for evaluating suppliers, product and services, negotiating contracts and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-effective and high of quality.

Ø Review the requirements of plants received concerned departments / requestors on daily Basis.

Ø Go through the specification of indented materials/items and prepare RFQ for the same.

Ø Arrange & get the quotations / offers for RFQs from respective suppliers and prepare detailed techno-commercial comparisons / evaluations for further approval & order Placement.

Ø Error frees Order Preparation in system and Forwarding to concern suppliers.

Ø Arrange & Manage on time Delivery of the entire requirements by selection of Proper Suppliers / Sources & subsequent Transport facility if any.

Ø Follow & Adhere 5R Policy for Procurement Procedure.

Ø Reconciliation of suppliers’ books of accounts with F&A dept. If there is any discrepancy, get them settled.

Ø In Case of any query against the invoice raised by vendor and duly verified by stores in charge, co-ordinate with vendor and get the query resolve.

Ø Daily updating of system reports / MIS regarding Procurement Activities by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Ø Develop & Apply Cost Optimization strategies by - Developing new vendors; by use of strategic sourcing approaches; Taking cost saving initiatives by emerging new product / idea / technics / strategies to mitigate risk & reduce cost.

Ø Maintaining positive & reliable business relations with suppliers. ; Vendor Management – maintaining approves vendor pool and New vendor Development.

Ø Ready to accept new projects/assignments as per business requirement.

Required Knowledge:

Ø Require knowledge of Procure to Pay Process.

Ø To have knowledge of ERP / Tally, MS Office, Internet and other relative resources.

Ø Knowledge of Legal / Statutory Compliances.

Ø Basic Knowledge of Taxation & Accounting – i.e. GST, HSN code, TCS, TDS, Import Duties, MSME Norms.

Ø Sound knowledge of industry spare part items, materials and products. I.e. Mechanical, Electricals & Others.

Ø Local Market knowledge will be added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
