Experience : 3–4 Years (Relevant Experience Required)

Preferred Candidate Profile

3–4 years of purchase experience specifically in wiring harness or automotive electrical industry

BE Electrical with practical exposure to electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement of raw materials and components related to wiring harness (wires, terminals, connectors, PVC tubes, tapes, etc.)

Vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and development

Preparation and processing of Purchase Orders (POs)

Ensuring on-time material availability as per production plan

Cost reduction through negotiation and alternate sourcing

Coordination with production, quality, and stores departments

Monitoring inventory levels and avoiding shortages or excess stock

Handling supplier quality and delivery issues

Maintaining purchase records and documentation

Compliance with company policies and ISO/quality standards

Required Skills & Competencies.

Strong knowledge of wiring harness materials and components

Understanding of BOM, MRP, and procurement processes.

Good negotiation and communication skills

Vendor management experienceFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/etc. – preferred)

Analytical and problem-solving skills
