Job Title: Purchase Executive/Manager
Location: Ludhiana
Experience Required: 5 Years +
ROLE OUTLINE: Responsible for executing and completing procurement requirements as per the set processes, evaluate goods receipt, and ensure adherence to quality standards as per the user demands. Ensure adequate stock levels at all times. Support and coordinate with the various departments.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Float RFQs (Request for Quotations) to approved vendors based on project/material requirements.
- Collect, verify, and organize vendor quotations in a timely manner.
- Prepare comparative statements (techno-commercial) for management review.
- Draft procurement record notes with clear justification and remarks for vendor selection.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Projects, MEPF, Accounts, etc.) for specification clarification and requirement validation.
- Maintain procurement trackers and update procurement logs for transparency and audit readiness.
- Assist in vendor negotiations for pricing, credit terms, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure documentation completeness – POs, approvals, contracts, and vendor records.
- Follow up with vendors for timely material delivery and documentation (invoices, dispatch details, etc.).
- Support in vendor empanelment, rate analysis, and market benchmarking..
