  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar procurement role in the MEP industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Vendor Management:
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for MEP materials and equipment.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore new partnerships to enhance the procurement process.
  • Material and Equipment Procurement:
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand material and equipment requirements.
  • Source, purchase, and expedite delivery of MEP materials and equipment in adherence to project timelines.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of procured items with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Cost Negotiation and Budget Management:
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and payment conditions to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Work closely with the finance department to manage and control the procurement budget.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that procured materials and equipment meet the required standards.
  • Address any quality issues with suppliers promptly and effectively.
  • Market Research:
  • Stay informed about market trends, new products, and advancements in MEP materials and equipment.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Logistics and Delivery Coordination:
  • Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
  • Monitor shipping schedules and address any delays or issues that may arise.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Anticipate and resolve supply chain disruptions to minimize project impact.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of MEP materials, equipment, and industry suppliers.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office applications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
