Manager - Purchase

Purchase (Maida)-North & East

Bengaluru, Karnataka

• Handling Maida Purchase Annual Spend of Rs 1000 Crores for North and East India
• Maida Buying of 4-5 Lakh MT Annual Volume for North and East India. (Delhi,Rudrapur,UP,Kolkata,Assam,Orrisa,Bihar)
• Wheat Custom Milling: Handling Custom Milling with different millers by fixing By-productrates.
  

Maida Buying & Operations

• Maida Buying : Spot and Forward Maida Buying from diff flour vendors for our 30 factories across North and East Region, tracking completion buying rates. Improve RFQ effectiveness
• New Vendor addition : Work on addition of New Vendors to add competitiveness
• Quality: Reducing Quality Rejections and working on development of diff types of maida like Atta, Wafer etc
• Pending PO Review : Regular tracking of Pending PO and ensure timely delivery of POs.
• Audit - Facilitation of Internal and external Maida purchase.
  
  

Market Intelligence

• Ground level Market Intelligence of Wheat and By-products, Competition Activities, Tracking Market rates of wheat, Maida, Bran , Suji, Atta in all major clusters.
  
  

Team Handling

• Leading a team of 2 Purchase Officers .
  
  

MBA from Tier 1 & 2 institute

Experience of Wheat Buying and Trading Agri commodity (preferably Wheat) in different parts of India, Excel Knowledge

2-5 years’ experience of Agri commodity buying
