We are a fast-growing startup in the student and working professional hostel segment, currently managing 2,500 beds and expanding to 4,000 beds by December 2025. Our operations rely on timely procurement of quality goods and services to ensure seamless resident experience.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations across multiple hostels. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendors for goods and services, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for hostel operations (housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, furniture, supplies).
• Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, stock levels, and inventory reports.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to forecast procurement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve procurement-related issues and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Analyze procurement data to drive cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in hospitality, operations, or retail.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of procurement software, inventory management, and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple locations.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
