Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end purchase process of raw materials, machinery components, and consumables required for conveyor belt manufacturing. The role also involves handling import documentation, customs clearance, vendor coordination, and ensuring cost-effective procurement in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Purchase:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, spares, and equipment.
- Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain purchase records.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials to support production schedules.
- Develop cost-saving strategies through vendor management and bulk purchasing.
Customs & Import Handling:
- Manage import documentation (Bill of Entry, Packing List, Invoice, LC, etc.).
- Coordinate with CHA (Customs House Agent) for timely customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with import/export laws, customs regulations, and DGFT policies.
- Track shipment status and communicate with freight forwarders and suppliers.
Vendor & Material Management:
- Maintain approved vendor lists and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
- Source alternate suppliers for critical items to avoid production delays.
- Maintain records for audits and statutory compliance.
Cost Control & Reporting:
- Prepare purchase reports, cost analyses, and MIS for management review.
- Monitor price trends and market developments for negotiation advantages.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and customs regulations.
- Hands-on experience in import/export documentation and coordination with CHA.
- Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle).
- Knowledge of materials used in conveyor belt manufacturing preferred.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in purchase and import/customs operations (preferably in a manufacturing industry).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
