Job Title: Purchase Manager

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 Gross per Month

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, components, and services from local and approved vendors.
• Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in line with company procurement policies.
• Maintain updated records of purchases, pricing, delivery terms, and supplier databases.
• Coordinate with internal departments (production, stores, and accounts) to forecast material requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any supply issues or delays.
• Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Ensure timely payment to vendors by coordinating with the accounts team and verifying invoices.
• Assist in developing alternative vendors to mitigate risks and ensure supply chain continuity.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement accordingly to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and audit requirements.
• Handling the Plates, Pipes, Fittings, Valve, Pumps, Motors, Instruments.
• Source and procure materials, chemicals, and equipment required for water purification systems, including ZLD, RO, UF, ATFD, and ETP components

Key Skills Required:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of raw materials and components used in manufacturing
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Basic understanding of inventory and supply chain management
• Good knowledge of taxation and documentation related to purchases (GST, PO, GRN, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline (preferably B.tech/ B.Com / BBA / B.Sc)
• Diploma or certification in Materials Management or Supply Chain is a plus.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience as a Purchase department in a manufacturing setup
• Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and a good team player
• Should have experience in handling local and domestic vendors
