Job Profile:

· As a purchase manager, you will interact with a variety of manufacturers and suppliers across India, especially in major hubs for timber and manufacturing.

· Develop and implement sourcing strategies for wood, ensuring a reliable supply of raw materials like pine or jungle wood.

· Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to find and manage the best vendors for wood, pallets, and drums. This involves evaluating suppliers based on quality, timeliness, and price.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with a network of timber mills and packaging manufacturers. You must be skilled at negotiating contracts, prices, and delivery terms.

· Stay updated on the wooden pallet and cable drum market in India.

· Ensure that all procured wood products meet the required quality standards. You will also oversee inventory to prevent stock outs and manage costs.

· Maintain comprehensive records of purchases, invoices, and supplier information. Your reporting will help management review procurement performance.

· Skills: Recruiters look for strong skills in vendor evaluation, price analysis, contract negotiation, and a deep understanding of the supply chain.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
