Purchase manager

Roles & Responsibilities

 Manage and oversee all food, grocery, and daily supply purchases for MD House.

 Develop, plan, and execute cost-effective sourcing and purchasing strategies.

 Maintain and evaluate vendor relationships to ensure timely, quality, and reliable.

 Negotiate rates and contracts to achieve best market value and quality assurance.

 Maintain accurate purchase records, payment tracking, and supplier database.

 Coordinate with inventory and kitchen staff to assess demand and stock levels.

 Ensure all purchases are done within the approved budget and timelines.

 Forecast price and market trends to anticipate cost fluctuations.

 Oversee asset management, maintenance purchases, and cash flow records.

 Generate weekly and monthly purchase reports for management review.

 Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal standards.

Educational Qualification / Background

 Candidate should be Graduate in Agriculture or have strong experience in Farming / Agricultural

operations.

 Preference will be given to candidates with experience in organic food procurement, groceries, and

kitchen supplies management.

Key Skills & Expertise

 Strong knowledge of organic and grocery supply chains.

 Experience in vendor management, purchase planning, and rate negotiation.

 Skilled in cash handling, asset tracking, and budget control.

 Ability to forecast purchase requirements and maintain stock efficiency.

 Trustworthy, disciplined, and capable of working independently at a senior level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
