Designation : Purchase Manager

QUALIFICATION : Min. Graduate –: BE/BTech/ Diploma (Electrical)

Preferable - Post Graduate –: ME/MTech (Electrical)/ MBA

INDUSTRY : Preferable Industrial Background - Electrical / Power

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : 6 to 12 Years

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manage project related procurement activities, in close co-operation with Project Management.
  • Prepare and authorize purchase orders for a variety of commodities, services, and equipment in close cooperation with the Project Team and local entities.
  • Develop and maintain Project requirements, Leads contract negotiations and conform execution of the same.
  • Lead the negotiation of costs, and terms and conditions with Suppliers and Subcontractors, and in close cooperation with Project Management.
  • Receive and review requisitions, examining for correctness and verifying budget availability, in close co-operation with Project Controlling and proper authority for requests.
  • Ensure that Suppliers meet or exceed project standards, including documentation, workmanship, cost and schedule.
  • Receive and review quotations. Review commercial terms of quotations and prepare analysis of conformity,provide negotiating strategy recommendations. Prepare quotation overviews and documentation required forclients, if any.
  • Expedite execution of Purchase Orders and ensures timely delivery, including support of logistic activities
  • Support supplier related Quality, Change and Claims Management.
  • Document and report project related purchasing activities to Strategic Procurement Director and Project Management.
  • Participate in procurement and related project meetings.
  • Maintain Project Procurement Plan and consult with Engineering and Project Management on required purchases
  • Research and qualify suppliers in accordance with company procedures and guide lines.
  • Monitor supply chain and supplier performance; while maintaining constant communication with suppliers to identify process, product and service improvement opportunities; seek, document and realize cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Strong Negotiation skills; Experience in Contract Development; familiarity with standard terms and conditions, e.g.
  • Superior ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment; with both a sense of both urgency and thoroughness.
  • Professional, positive, and energetic attitude; excellent interpersonal communication skills: ability to relate well to contacts inside and outside the organization.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹542,225.43 - ₹609,032.12 per year
