Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities in line with organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors/suppliers; maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve best value.
- Oversee preparation and approval of purchase orders (POs), contracts, and related documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Ensure timely procurement for government tenders, projects, and ongoing operations.
- Coordinate with accounts, logistics, project, and site teams for smooth execution and material flow.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and applicable procurement regulations.
- Control procurement budgets, analyze cost-saving opportunities, and manage purchase forecasting.
- Review vendor performance regularly and take corrective actions where required.
- Prepare MIS reports on procurement status, cost analysis, vendor performance, and savings achieved.
- Mentor and guide the purchase team, including Assistant Purchase Manager and executives.
