Job Title: Purchase Manager – Interior Fit-Out Projects
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
Reporting To: Project Director / Operations Head
Location: HO with site coordination
Job Purpose
To manage end-to-end procurement of materials, services, and subcontractors for interior fit-out projects, ensuring timely availability, cost control, quality compliance, and smooth coordination with project, billing, and accounts teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management
- Plan and execute procurement for all interior works including civil, carpentry, modular furniture, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, finishes, and loose furniture.
- Float enquiries, evaluate quotations, negotiate rates, and finalize vendors/subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain an approved vendor database.
- Ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely deliveries.
Purchase Orders & Documentation
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and Work Orders (WOs) as per approved BOQ and budget.
- Ensure all POs are supported by approved drawings, GFCs, specifications, and rate analysis.
- Track PO amendments, variations, and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning, Billing, and Accounts teams.
- Align material procurement with project schedules and milestones.
- Handle urgent site requirements and critical material planning.
Cost Control & Budgeting
- Monitor project procurement costs against approved budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Assist in finalization of vendor rates for non-tender / extra items.
- Support billing team with rate confirmations and PO references.
Inventory & Logistics
- Monitor material dispatch, delivery schedules, and site receipt.
- Ensure timely GRN, material reconciliation, and return handling.
- Minimize wastage, excess ordering, and material shortages.
Billing & Payment Support
- Verify vendor bills against PO, GRN, and work completion.
- Coordinate with accounts for timely vendor payments.
- Resolve billing discrepancies, shortages, or quality-related deductions.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure vendors comply with safety, quality, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal controls.
- Support ISO / internal audit processes if applicable.

Qualification
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Civil Engineering / Interior / Architecture / Mechanical
- MBA in Supply Chain / Operations (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out / construction / real estate projects
- Prior experience in fast-track commercial or corporate interior projects preferred
