Key Responsibilities Purchase Management
- Manage end-to-end procurement of products as per demand forecasts and sales requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for pricing, availability, lead times, and order confirmations.
- Ensure timely purchase orders to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, and vendor documentation.
B2B Order Punching
- Punch and process B2B purchase orders accurately
- Ensure correct SKU mapping, quantities, pricing, taxes, and delivery timelines.
- Track order status and follow up with vendors for dispatch and delivery updates.
- Resolve discrepancies related to quantities, pricing, or documentation.
Vendor Coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and distributors.
- Coordinate for order confirmations, dispatch schedules, and payment follow-ups.
- Identify and onboard new vendors when required.
Inventory & Reporting
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for inward stock planning.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning.
- Prepare purchase reports, vendor performance reports, and order status summaries.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with sales, customer service, finance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Support special orders, bulk orders, and urgent procurement requirements.
Skills & Qualifications Mandatory Skills
- Strong understanding of purchase management and procurement processes.
- Experience in B2B order punching and handling bulk orders.
- Good Excel skills for tracking purchases and reports.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Basic understanding of GST, invoicing, and vendor documentation.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchase operations, or supply chain roles.
- Prior experience handling B2B orders is strongly preferred.
