Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Purchase Manager to lead our procurement operations and optimize our supply chain processes. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on sourcing, vendor management, and cost reduction.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable conditions while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee inventory control and supply chain management to prevent stock shortages or excesses, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse teams to coordinate procurement activities that support production schedules.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly through metrics related to delivery times, quality, pricing, and compliance.
- Lead procurement team members by providing guidance on sourcing strategies, contract management, and ERP system utilization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS for procurement and inventory management.
- Expertise in sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and supply chain optimization.
- Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of logistics, pricing strategies, inventory control, and contract management best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
