Job Summary

Human Capital HR Solutions is hiring an experienced Purchase Manager for a leading retail organization. We are looking for a professional with strong expertise in managing procurement operations across Food (Grocery), Non-Food, and Fresh categories, including Fruits & Vegetables, Meat, and Butchery.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor management, inventory planning, cost optimization, and ensuring the timely availability of products while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives.

Manage procurement activities for Food, Non-Food, and Fresh categories.

Identify, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Ensure product availability by coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Monitor inventory levels, pricing trends, and supplier performance.

Optimize costs while maintaining product quality and service standards.

Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and budgets.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

Requirements

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within the retail industry.

Hands-on experience managing Food, Non-Food, and Fresh categories is mandatory.

Strong understanding of sourcing, vendor management, inventory control, and supply chain operations.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
