About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with at least 5 years of experience in procurement and vendor management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire purchasing process, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials or services at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with departments such as production, finance, and logistics to forecast needs and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal regulations.
• Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and cost-effective sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
• Proficiency in ERP or procurement software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in [industry name – e.g., manufacturing, construction, FMCG, engineering, etc.].
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and vendor compliance.
• Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹52,689.36 per month
