Position: Purchase Manager

Experience: 8–10 years

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain or relevant field. Additional certification in Purchase/Material Management preferred (Optional)

Experience: 8–10 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement. Prior experience in Real Estate / Construction industry is mandatory.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of procurement cycle.

Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

Ability to prepare comparative statements and cost analysis.

Knowledge of inventory management systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Management

Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.

Obtain and evaluate quotations from multiple vendors.

Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

Maintain strong vendor relationships and performance tracking.

2. Procurement Process

Compare rates and prepare comparative statements.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and Work Orders.

Ensure approval as per company authority matrix.

Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and dispatch.

3. Material & Inventory Management

Maintain stock inventory list and material tracking.

Coordinate with site team for material requirements.

Monitor inward and outward material movement.

Ensure proper documentation of goods received.

4. Cost Control & Budget Monitoring

Monitor procurement cost against project budgets.

Identify cost-saving opportunities.

Prepare periodic cost reports for management review.

Control over-purchasing and wastage.

5. Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.

Maintain purchase records in MS Excel/ERP.

Submit regular purchase and inventory reports to management.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
