Job Overview:
As a Purchase Officer at Elder Equipment, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards that define our company. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently manage the procurement process for raw materials and other essential supplies. Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and Procurement:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of raw materials and other essential items.
• Conduct negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements.
• Ensure procurement activities align with quality standards and budgetary constraints.
• Vendor Management:
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and consistency.
• Monitor vendor performance, addressing any issues promptly and collaboratively.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand specific requirements and optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Quality Assurance:
• Work closely with quality control teams to uphold the highest standards for raw materials.
• Implement measures to assess and improve the quality of materials received.
• Budget Compliance:
• Manage and adhere to budgetary constraints, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Provide regular reports on procurement activities and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Purchase Officer or in a similar procurement role within the industrial manufacturing sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and a strategic approach to vendor management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
