Job Title: Purchase Senior Executive

Department: Purchase / Procurement

Job Summary:

The Purchase Sr. Executive is responsible for end-to-end procurement of materials, ensuring timely availability of quality goods at competitive prices. The role involves vendor development, cost negotiation, and coordination with merchandising, production, and quality teams to support seamless operations and on-time deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement

· Plan and execute procurement as per production and merchandising requirements.

· Source reliable suppliers for fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials.

· Evaluate quotations, negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery timelines.

· Issue and monitor purchase orders, ensuring adherence to quality and timelines.

2. Vendor Development & Management

· Identify and onboard new suppliers to enhance sourcing base and competitiveness.

· Maintain strong relationships with vendors for long-term partnerships.

· Regularly evaluate supplier performance on price, quality, and delivery.

· Resolve any vendor issues related to supply delays or quality deviations.

3. Material Planning & Coordination

· Liaise with merchandising, stores, and production to forecast and plan material needs.

· Track inward materials and ensure timely dispatch to production units.

· Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery and documentation.

4. Cost Optimization & Quality Control

· Continuously identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement.

· Ensure purchased materials comply with required standards and specifications.

· Coordinate with the QA team for inspection and approval of incoming materials.

5. Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain updated purchase records, supplier database, and price lists.

· Prepare periodic purchase summaries, cost analysis, and management reports.

· Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and audit norms.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Graduate in Commerce / Supply Chain / Business Management (MBA preferred).

· 3–4 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in textiles or home furnishings.

· Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, packaging materials, and supplier markets.

· Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and ERP systems.

· Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
