Job Description: Purchase Officer

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing the company’s procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality purchases. Key duties include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate purchase records.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure favorable deals.
  • Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Review and verify the quality of purchased products.
  • Enter and maintain accurate order details in the internal database.
  • Keep updated records of purchased items, invoices, and related documents.
  • Prepare purchase reports, including cost analyses.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and inventory management.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to stay informed about market trends and new products.

Office Location: 411-414, Baroda Commerce House (BCH), Nr. Bansal Mall, Gotri - Bhayli Road, Vadodara.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
