About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Officer to manage the procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure that the organization has the materials and supplies it needs to operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and identify suppliers of goods and services required by the organization.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure the best deals.
  • Place purchase orders and track them to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to avoid stockouts.
  • Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and quality of goods.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and budget constraints.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding procurement.
  • Perform market research to stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and pricing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and purchasing software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
