Purchase Officer

The Purchase Officer (Grains) is responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality grains while ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and compliance with quality standards. This role involves supplier negotiations, market analysis, and coordination with internal teams to maintain a smooth supply chain.

Note: Candidates must be from Mailsi, Sahiwal, Kamalia or Pakpattan locations.

· Source and procure high-quality grains from reliable suppliers.

· Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.

· Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of grains.

· Ensure timely procurement to meet production and storage requirements.

· Maintain strong relationships with farmers, traders, and suppliers.

· Conduct quality checks on incoming grain shipments.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

· Coordinate with the quality control team to verify grain specifications.

· Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation.

· Optimize procurement strategies to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

· Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams for smooth supply chain operations.

· Require a degree in Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or a related field.

· Preferably 1–3 years of experience in procurement or grain trading.

· Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
