Purchase & Procurement
- Source and purchase raw materials, consumables, and other general store items.
- Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms with vendors.
- Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries.
- Maintain vendor database and evaluate supplier performance.
Stores & Inventory Management
- Maintain stock registers and update entries for inward/outward movement of goods.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of items.
- Conduct stock verification and reconcile with system records.
- Monitor stock levels and raise requisitions to avoid shortages/overstocking.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all purchase and store records are maintained accurately.
- Coordinate with accounts for vendor bills and payments.
- Generate reports on purchase costs, stock status, and consumption trends.
- Support audits related to stores and purchase functions.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of purchase, stores, and inventory management.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and inventory software.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
