Purchase Supervisor

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Supervisor with experience in electrical panel and sheet metal fabrication procurement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, sourcing materials and ensuring timely availability of components required for production and fabrication activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for electrical and sheet metal materials.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project requirements.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with the design, production, and stores departments to ensure timely material availability.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan material procurement based on project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications for all purchased items.
• Track and resolve any discrepancies in supply, delivery, or payment.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for long-term supply chain stability.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required Skills:

• Diploma / B.E in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electrical panel components and sheet metal materials.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and inventory management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
