Job Description:
The Purchase Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the procurement of food ingredients, beverages, equipment, and other operational supplies required for the F&B establishments. This role involves supervising the purchasing team, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with UAE regulations. The Purchase Supervisor also collaborates with other departments to support efficient operations and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating & clearing the issues with the suppliers, if they have any issues with deliveries, quality or any other concerns from the operations
- Enquiring about new items and quotations based on the requirement from the operation team
- Negotiating the prices with the supplier based on the market study
- Develop Reports for the inventory tracking for the shops
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize purchasing activities and achieve cost saving while meeting the quality and delivery requirements
- Coordinating with internal departments for purchasing needs, forecast demand and develop procurement plans accordingly
- Monitor and analyse market trends, supplier performance and product satisfaction to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Manage the purchase order process, ensuring accurate and timely purchase order creation, issuance and tracking
- Supporting general accounting operations, including journal entries and financial documentation.
