Job Summary:

The Purchase / Supply Chain Executive will be responsible for managing procurement, vendor relations, inventory, and logistics to ensure the timely availability of components, machinery, and automation equipment. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing & Procurement

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for automation components, PLCs, sensors, control panels, industrial PCs, and other related materials.
  • Request and compare quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
  • Create and process purchase orders in ERP/software systems.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance and delivery schedules.

Supply Chain & Logistics

  • Coordinate material movement from suppliers to warehouse/production facility.
  • Ensure timely delivery of imported and domestic goods by working with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics providers.
  • Maintain optimum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Track shipments and handle any transport-related issues.

Inventory & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate inventory records of automation equipment and spare parts.
  • Ensure proper documentation for procurement, customs clearance, and vendor payments.
  • Support internal departments by providing real-time material availability updates.

Vendor Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable vendors.
  • Conduct periodic vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality and service standards.
  • Explore alternative suppliers for cost reduction and risk mitigation.

Process Improvement

  • Assist in implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Work with engineering and production teams to forecast material requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in automation, manufacturing, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of automation products (PLC, HMI, VFD, SCADA systems, sensors, actuators, etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
