Purchase & Vendor Development Engineer

What do we need? (Requirements):

· Relevant 3 - 5 years experience in purchase and vendor development, preferably in a manufacturing and production industries

· Should be experienced in complete manufacturing sector for direct materials primarily (Sheet Metal, Plastic, rubber is a plus)

· More knowledge in sourcing strategies, vendor evaluation and negotiation techniques.

· Strong analytical skills to assess vendor capabilities, pricing structures and product quality.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

· Experience in ERP software’s to release the PO, Inventory management and vendor management

· Ability to travel domestically on a daily basis

· Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identify and resolve sourcing related issues.

What will you do? (Responsibilities):

· Supplier follow up, MC estimation and Meeting the OTD

· Travel to Vendor place for evaluation and selection

· Contract negotiation and management

· Asses, Manage and Mitigate the risks related to procurement

· Continuous improvement
