Purchase & Vendor Development Engineer

Urgent opening for Purchase and Vendor Development Engineer- Solar company with Good salary

Location: Near Singanallur, Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new vendors for materials, components, and services
• Conduct vendor evaluation and price comparison analysis
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines
• Maintain vendor database and documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments (Purchase, Stores, Accounts, Operations)
• Ensure timely procurement and avoid stock shortages
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve supply issues
• Prepare MIS reports related to vendor sourcing and procurement

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in vendor sourcing / procurement / purchase
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
• Ability to handle multiple vendors and follow-up effectively
• Must be from Coimbatore or nearby locations
• Immediate joiners only

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in manufacturing / automation / electrical / solar industry preferred
• Strong vendor network in Tamil Nadu is an added advantage
