Procurement Engineer

At Smart Joules, We are looking for a Procurement Engineer who can independently manage RFQs and POs, conduct technocommercial evaluations, and support project procurement requirements. The role requires close coordination with design, operations, central teams, and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement aligned with project needs and budgets.

Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Raise RFQs and POs independently on Actionboard in line with project BOQs, drawings, and design requirements.
• Perform detailed techno-commercial comparisons and recommend suitable vendors/materials.
• Develop strong working knowledge of project scope, design processes, operations, central functions, and procurement workflows.
• Take timely procurement decisions to address site urgencies while adhering to SJPL budget norms.
• Ensure on-time material delivery, quality compliance, and coordination for resolving procurement-related issues.
• Work closely with design, operations, central, and procurement teams to support smooth project execution.
• Build, manage, and maintain strong vendor relationships, especially in project site environments.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement efficiency, coordination, and vendor performance.
