About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Purchase & Vendor Manager to lead procurement, vendor management, and commercial operations for our Commercial Display and Video Conferencing business. The ideal candidate will possess strong industry knowledge, established supplier relationships, and a deep understanding of project-based AV business environments.
This role requires a commercially focused professional who can effectively manage vendor partnerships, negotiate favorable commercial terms, support sales and project teams, and ensure profitable business operations while maintaining healthy cash flow and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for Commercial Display, Video Conferencing, and related AV solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and key suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, rebates, and supply agreements to maximize profitability.
- Source products and solutions that meet customer requirements while ensuring competitive pricing and availability.
- Work closely with sales and project teams to develop cost-effective and profitable solutions.
- Monitor and manage vendor performance, delivery schedules, and service quality.
- Ensure effective control of gross margins, operational expenses (OPEX), and cash flow impact.
- Analyze market trends, supplier offerings, and emerging technologies to support business growth.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in the Commercial Display, Video Conferencing, Pro AV, or Unified Communications industry.
- Extensive knowledge of global AV brands, products, and solutions.
- Experience working within project-based business environments.
- Proven expertise in procurement, purchasing, vendor management, and commercial negotiations.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and financial management skills.
- Ability to balance customer requirements with profitability objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the UAE market with strong familiarity with local customers, suppliers, and business practices.
