We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Purchaser with construction industry experience to join our growing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should know about construction materials procurement, supplier coordination, and purchasing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, tools, and site requirements.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices and delivery terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Coordinate with site and project teams regarding materials requirements.
- Maintain procurement records and supplier documentation.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
- Support vendor communication and relationship management.
- Monitor stock availability and report shortages when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-2 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the construction industry.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and local suppliers.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- UAE experience preferred.
