Purchasing Agent

The Purchasing Agent is a critical role within the Operations department, responsible for ensuring timely material availability to support the production schedule. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory levels, supporting material and product revisions, collaborating with internal teams, and coordinating with suppliers on a variety of operational matters.

Duties
This role will support Purchasing and Inventory operations, with key responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Manage the daily demand list.
• Create and manage purchase orders for primary vendors.
• Order tools and other equipment for warehouse staff.
• Perform cycle counts and process inventory adjustments.
• Respond to Customer Service, Service Team, and Parts inquiries related to pricing, lead times, and ETAs.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to support production orders.
• Support the management and tracking of blades.

Requirements

• Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and exceptional attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of MRP, transportation, supply chain, inventory management, and warehousing disciplines.
• Experience establishing and utilizing demand-pull material planning methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong follow-up practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
