Schedule & Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 am-5:00 pm (4x10 Schedule) Must be available to work on Fridays if needed.
Location: Pueblo, CO
Remote: On-site
Pay Range: $19.00 - $20.00 (Depending on experience)

Job Summary
The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for supporting the purchasing team and maintaining records of purchases.

Provides administrative and clerical support to the purchasing department.

Follow up with orders for expediting and create change orders as needed.

Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies.

Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition.

Liaise with accounts payable staff to ensure prompt payment to suppliers.

Provide support to buyers in duties as required.

Perform similar or other duties as required.

Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant or similar role.

Good understanding of supply chain procedures.

Experience with ERP systems is a plus, but not required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
