Purchasing Assistant

This role supports the purchasing team by buying materials and supplies for manufacturing, design, and other departments. It involves ordering quality goods at good prices, tracking deliveries, and making sure items arrive on time. Key tasks include creating and managing purchase orders, checking deliveries, entering items into the system, and keeping records up to date. The job also includes organizing parts, handling shipping, maintaining inventory tools like Aptean CMMS and Fixx, and submitting monthly credit card expenses through ZOHO. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Your hours:

7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

What you need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Excel experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry items where needed.
• Must work with attention to detail to prevent mistakes and receive exactly what was requested.
• Capable of planning and organizing a rapid changing workload.
• Self-motivating and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent math skills.
