Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders (POs)
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations and negotiate prices
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain and update supplier databases and records
- Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine best options
- Coordinate with internal departments (finance, warehouse, operations)
- Handle documentation such as invoices, delivery notes, and contracts
- Resolve supply issues, delays, or discrepancies
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory control
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (preferred)
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
