We are looking for a “ Purchasing Associate’’ to be in Akyazı . A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:

• Establishing procurement strategies for raw materials and packaging materials in line with company objectives,
• Managing the procurement process to ensure the timely supply of raw materials and packaging with optimal cost and quality,
• Developing alternative suppliers and materials for Reduce costs and improve process,
• Following the market indicators closely and take the necessary purchasing measures,
• Working in coordination with all departments to take necessary actions
• Preparing and regulating procurement reports regarding raw materials and packaging purchases,
• Periodic reporting of budget realizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Raw Material and/or Packaging Procurement or similar functions,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Advanced user of MS Office applications,
• Preferably knowledge of SAP MM Modul,
• Experienced in strategy development, supplier research-development,
• Key skills and abilities include proactive, analytical thinking and problem solving,
• Strong communication & negotiation skills with excellent organizing and planning skills,
• Advanced in effective negotiations an communication skills, high level of coordination and has problem solving skills,
• Active driver - B class,
• No restrictions for travelling,
• Lives/can live in Sakarya.
