Purchasing Clerk

Highly specialized electronics manufactring company in Manchester is seeking a full time Purchasing Clerk!

Duties will include:

  • Greeting and directing visitors and answering incoming calls
  • Generating quotes and sourcing components
  • Sending and confirming quotes/orders
  • Purchasing supplies for orders and general shop usage
  • Facilitating 3rd party items and services required for production
  • Handling and reviewing customer schematics
  • Transferring/updating customer documents into computer system
  • Performing inventory counts
  • Checking-in incoming shipments
  • Notifying customers of component shortages/obsolescence
  • conversing with customer’s engineers to locate alternate components
  • Updating/managing production schedule
  • Digitizing documentation
  • Filling out and submitting compliance paperwork
  • Occasional assistance with production

Qualified candidates will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Adobe Acrobat, have a good attention to detail, and at least 2 years of purchasing/inventory experience in a manufacturing setting.
