Highly specialized electronics manufactring company in Manchester is seeking a full time Purchasing Clerk!
Duties will include:
- Greeting and directing visitors and answering incoming calls
- Generating quotes and sourcing components
- Sending and confirming quotes/orders
- Purchasing supplies for orders and general shop usage
- Facilitating 3rd party items and services required for production
- Handling and reviewing customer schematics
- Transferring/updating customer documents into computer system
- Performing inventory counts
- Checking-in incoming shipments
- Notifying customers of component shortages/obsolescence
- conversing with customer’s engineers to locate alternate components
- Updating/managing production schedule
- Digitizing documentation
- Filling out and submitting compliance paperwork
- Occasional assistance with production
Qualified candidates will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Adobe Acrobat, have a good attention to detail, and at least 2 years of purchasing/inventory experience in a manufacturing setting.
