Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Purchasing Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will assist with purchasing activities, support vendor communications, and help ensure the timely delivery of parts and materials. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement while learning how to manage supplier relationships and contribute to efficient purchasing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery of parts and materials.
  • Order Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to identify and procure parts and materials needed for order completion.
  • Order Tracking: Monitor and track parts orders to ensure on-time delivery, addressing any delays promptly.
  • Order Expediting: Ensure the efficient delivery of parts and materials by coordinating and prioritizing tasks for critical/AOG orders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to resolve supply chain issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory management: Analyze usage trends and set stock re-order levels and minimum/maximum stock levels.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in using computer systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with vendors.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Follows written and verbal instructions.

  • Job Type: Full-time in-office role
  • Starting Pay: $20-$22 per hour - employee review after 3 months employment and potential pay raise.
