A growing garment manufacturer in El Monte, CA is looking for a full-time Purchasing Coordinator who enjoys a fast paced, able to multitask and detail oriented to join our team.
Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare purchase orders for raw materials-fabrics/trims.
- Request L/D, review & approve/send comment of bulk shipment sample.
- Review fabric and trims consumption report.
- Communicate with domestic and international vendors on daily basis as needed, monitor order status and arrange shipping to make sure fabric/trims deliver to factory on time.
- Update PO/shipping docs/inspection report to fabric/trim WIP.
- Organize and maintain material samples.
- Matching purchase order with invoices/shipping docs for payment.
- Collaborate with the related departments, work closely with Production Manager, Shipping Manager, PD/Sample Team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in woman’s junior’s knitwear a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook.
- Excellent judgment and organizational ability.
- Strong proactive communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail.
- Solid interpersonal skills – able to and enjoy working cross-functionally and across multiple business units to achieve company goals.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment, detail oriented, a self-starter, and has strong work ethic.
Experience:
- 3-5 years material purchasing experiences in garment industry, in charge of Purchasing Dept.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
